If you like to do sports and keep fit on vacation, you will find (almost) everything your heart desires in our immediate vicinity.

🚴 Cycling – Challenging cycle tours lead across the hilly landscapes, but reward you with breathtaking views and clear air. The quiet country roads along the river valleys are ideal for more leisurely tours.

🪂 Paragliding – Near Rocamadour or in the Dordogne Valley, paragliding schools offer unforgettable flights over gorges, rivers and fields.

You can go on wonderful canoe trips on the Dordogne or take on sporting challenges on one of the golf courses.

🎾 Tennis – tennis courts can be found in the nearby towns, ideal for a sporting change in between.

Golf, fishing, paddling & water sports

⛳ Golfing in beautiful surroundings – Whether at Château Montal, Puy-d’Arnac or Souillac, the region’s golf courses offer sporting challenges in the midst of beautiful nature – with views of gentle valleys and medieval castles.

🎣 Fishing – The Dordogne and its tributaries are a paradise for anglers. Local fishing clubs provide tips and help with licenses so that nothing stands in the way of your relaxing day on the water.

🚣 Paddling on the Dordogne – discover the landscape from the water. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne and Carennac, among other places. The river sections are family-friendly and always offer new panoramas.

Cultural events

🎼 From spring to fall, there are numerous cultural events in the region. Particularly noteworthy are the jazz festival in Souillac or the classical music week in Rocamadour or the breathtaking scenery.
