Maison Rose – a vacation home with charm

Behind the large gate of Château Plagne, our two lovingly restored vacation homes welcome you: Maison Rose and Maison Soleil. Since the acquisition of the property in 2018, both houses have been completely renovated – and now shine in new splendor without losing their original character.

The Maison Rose, a natural stone farmhouse from the early 19th century, combines the typical charm of regional architecture with modern comfort. It is ideal for two people and offers a cozy yet spacious living atmosphere on two floors.

On the first floor, you will find a spacious living room with a sofa, reading chairs and a wood burning stove in the center. An open kitchen with adjoining dining room and a small bathroom complete this area.

On the upper floor, a cozy bedroom opens up under the historic roof beams. Four small dormer windows facing all directions bathe the room in light and give it a special radiance.

Outside, a small, west-facing terrace invites you to enjoy the evening sun – the perfect place to end the day with a glass of wine. Those who prefer shade will find a cozy seating area under the old lime tree. The sweeping view of the Dordogne Valley offers new, fascinating views every day.

Together with the neighboring Maison Soleil, you also have access to a 4 x 12 meter saltwater swimming pool with its own pool house.

Culinary experiences

For culinary delights, you can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet at the Château or book a fine dinner menu – as you wish and separately.
